Air quality monitoring

Air quality control refers to the process of monitoring the concentration of contaminants such as SO2, NOX, volatile organic chemicals and heavy metals in the air. Stack monitoring which records temperature, velocity, and concentration of various contaminants is another measure for monitoring and controlling contaminants. The results from the various points of analysis can then be examined to monitor the air quality results and applied to assess risk for human and ecological health in accordance to established benchmarks and international air quality criteria.
